The most important links and information for participants in COP15

The Danish United Nations Association
Amongst our activities, Danish UNA is focusing on civil society involvement and linking issues and actors, being one of the key facilitators in the post-Rio Sustainable Development process. We are board members of Peoples' Climate Action and are part of the Danish '92 Group and WFUNA's delegations to COP-15 (WFUNA being World Federation of UNAs http://www.wfuna.org). Throughout the conference our participants will post comments on the blog www.climatedebate.dk
We will together with the Finish UNA and their partners from Brazil, India and Tanzania host a side-event at Peoples Climate Summit Wednesday December 9th at 16.15 (in the Red Room).
December 10th 14.00-18.00, there will be a "Model UN"-simulation of climate negotiations at HK-København; read more and sign up at http://www.muncc.dk Also on December 10th our volunteers will celebrate UNs Human Rights Day at various key locations in Copenhagen.
December 12th we will participate in the Global Day of Action.

The main venue for NGO activities outside BC takes place in DGI-byen next to the Central Station. "Programme" gives you the overview of everything planned, under "Declaration" you can follow the drafting of a statement of the summit, and "Practical" is yet another good place for useful information.

Global Day of Action, December 12th www.12dec09.dk and http://www.globalclimatecampaign.org
Halfway through the conference, people around the world will organise one day of common, peaceful activities. In Copenhagen, a demonstration will start at the Parliament (Christiansborg) at 13.00.
