The Structure of the Danish UN Association
The National Congress

the Council, the Board and the Executive Committee are elected.
Moreover, the planned activities for UNA Denmark for the next two
years are approved in this forum.
The Council
The Council watches the implementation of the planned
activities. The Council has 26 members and holds normally two
annual meetings.
The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee consists of the President, the
Vice President , the Treasurer and two additional members. In
co-operation with the Secretary General the Executive Committee is
responsible for the day-to-day work of the Danish UNA.

District Committees
The District Committees are the manifestation of UNA

independent groups of UNA Denmark's members in - currently -
Copenhagen. The District Committees receive funding from UNA
Denmark, but over and above that they are independent units with
their own boards of directors elected locally. Such Boards meet
regularly and they arrange discussion groups, conferences and other
UN-related activities.
Corporate member organisations
In addition to the individual members, UNA Denmark also
has approx. 55 member organisations. The corporate organisations
make up a network consisting of a broad representation of political
parties, trade unions, educational organisations, youth and women
organisations, humanitarian organisations and internationally
oriented organisations. Representatives from the corporate member
organisations are elected for half of the seats in the Assembly of
Delegates.
The Parliamentary Group
A group of members of Parliament made up by members from
all the political parties represented in Parliament is affiliated
with UNA Denmark. Hence the aim of this cross-political
parliamentary group is to strengthen the debate on UN issues in
Parliament, and thus makes up part of the political foundation of
UNA Denmark.
WFUNA/WFM
UNA Denmark is member of two international coalitions.
WFUNA, (World Federation of United Nations Associations) and WFM
(World Federalist Movement) that combined make up a network in more
